Flounder mount, Flounder-Revolution, University of Texas Marine Science Institute
Big Momma has returned home. A replica of the 13-pound, 11 ounce monster flounder that resided at the Texas Marine Science Institute (UTMSI) for the last couple of years has returned home. This large breeding female moved on to flounder heaven after providing millions of eggs to the UT hatchery program over the last couple of years. A couple of replicas were made of this beautiful fish which will now be displayed at UTMSI and will also be available for viewing at future seminars held throughout the year by Flounder-Revolution.
